FREE! Top Three Legal "Hot Topics" in Gov. Contr.

The TargetGov Top Three Legal "Hot Topics" in Government Contracting teleconference provides an excellent opportunity to hear industry experts discuss hot topics that are the concern of government contractors in today’s procurement competition.  To download the audio and toolkit files for this information-packed, hour-long teleconference at NO COST, click here.

Topics covered include:

• Parity and the Mission Critical Case
The GAO and the Court of Federal Claims have both ruled that HUBZone companies take priority over 8(a) and SDVOSB companies.   We will explain how this happened, update the audience on what is being done to bring about parity and what it means to your company.

• Insourcing
The insourcing initiative is in full swing.  Agencies have received directives from the White House regarding adding more employees to their federal payrolls in order to “rebalance” the public/private ratio of contractor-to-federal employees.  We will discuss some examples of insourcing and possible options available to small businesses faced with loss of contracts due to insourcing.

• Update on SBA programs, status on proposed regulations, policies, audits and investigations
Small businesses are faced with increased scrutiny as to eligibility to participate in various small business programs.  Meanwhile the rules are changing.  We will discuss the current small business contracting environment and update participants on the status of proposed rule changes to the small business regulations.

With this teleconference, you also receive the Top Three Legal "Hot Topics" in Government Contracting Toolkit, created exclusively by TargetGov for this teleconference.  The toolkit, (a downloadable e-book) will not only provide an excellent way to take notes and follow the teleconference speakers, but will also become an outstanding business resource to be referred to over and over again in the future.
