DSFederal Wins $15M Army Contract

 DSFederal was awarded a $15M task order to provide administrative and technical support to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), a subordinate laboratory under the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, the company announced today. USAMRIID is the Nation’s leading biodefense research Institute focused on developing medical solutions to biological threats.Nearly 50 staff members will support a wide range of USAMRIID organizations, including the Science Directorates, which is directly responsible for researching biological threats and investigating disease outbreaks. The team will also support the Office of the Commander,the Biosecurity Directorate, and the Administration Directorate to provide program analysis, financial management, logistics, and other technical and administrativetasks.Building upon DSFederal’s expansive presence within 22 health and biomedical research organizations, the contract marks the company’s first major projectwithin USAMRIID since winning a spot on the $250 million IDIQ vehicle in November.
